Ready for a re-release?

I don't know how I missed this track until now. It has everything that you need for a hit. Strong singers, great lyrics, fantastic backing, great dancers and a brilliant set. What more could you ask for?

Interesting variation on the 419

This one is notable for the definite step-up in grammar that's occurred here:

Hello,

My name is Kevin Brown and I am an artist. I live in England, with my two kids, one dog [ah bless] and the love of my life [a lederhosen wearing butler called Heinrich]. It is definitely a full house. I have been doing artwork since I was a small child when I was in Canada where I took interest in arts that gives me about 23 years of experience. I majored in art in high school and took a few college art courses. Most of my work is done in either pencil or airbrush mixed with color pencils [I prefer the blood of virgins myself].

I have recently added designing and creating artwork on the computer. I have been selling my art for the last 4 to 5 years and have had my work featured on trading cards, prints and in magazines. I have sold in galleries, museums and to private collectors from all around the world. I am always facing serious difficulties when it comes to selling my art works to Americans; they are always offering to pay with a US POSTAL MONEY ORDER [damn them!], which is difficult for me to cash here in England. I am looking for a representative in the states who will be working for me as a part time worker and I am willing to pay for every transaction, which wouldnt affect your present state of work, someone who would help me receive payments from my customers in the states.

I mean someone that is responsible and reliable, because the cost of coming to the states and getting payments is very expensive, I am working on setting up a branch in the state, and so for now I need a representative in the United States who will be handling the payment aspect. These payments are in money order and they would come to you in your name,so all you need do is cash the money order deduct your 10% percentage from the sent money to you and wire the rest back. But the problem I have is trust. But I have my way of getting anyone that gets away with our money; I mean the FBI branch in Washington gets involved. It wouldnt cost u any amount, you are to receive payments which will be sent to you by FedEx or USPS from my business partners, which would come in form of a money order then you are to cash it and send the cash to me via western union [ah, the great Western Union] money transfer all western union charges will be deducted from the money. If you are interested, please get back to me as soon as possible.

To facilitate the conclusion of this transaction if accepted, do send me by mail promptly with the following:

1. Your Fullname and present Occupation
2. Telephone number
3. Contact address

Thanks in this regards and looking forward to a fruitful relationship.[I bet you are]

Regards,
Kevin Brown
N.B: Endeavor to send your reply to my alternative e- mail address [I wonder why that is]:

What's all this then?

When this video starts, you wonder what geeky gadget you're about to see in action. It looks like it's something to do with super-cooling weird magnet things.

Musac -Torn

I think that I posted the first version of this some time ago, so if you've seen the first on [insert URL], you'll probably like this version. It's one of those simple things that if it makes sense to you, it makes you feel good and gives you chills. You can never predict those happenings that are going to bring that effect with them. Occasionally they're small and inconsequential and sometimes they're large and powerful, but whatever their magnitude, they have the same effect inside. I suppose that's logical really. They both take up the same amount of real estate in the brain; a few cells and chemicals scattered in an incomprehesible pattern.

Wellies or wheelies

Do you like wheelies? If so, then one way to get your regular fix is to fit a turbo charger to a Yamaha R1.

Spooky Effect

This is another one of those visual effects that plays tricks with your eyes. It would probably be even more effective if you have some particularly ornate flock wallpaper.

Bizarre humour

This video comprises lots of short clips, some funny, some not. I like the Two Kirks a Khan and a Pizza Place myself.

Do you like music?

Or do you just buy albums for their covers? If it's the latter, then you'll love these.

Pished Percussionist

I don't know if you remember, but sometime ago I posted that brilliant video of the vocal percussionist. This time, he's got a set of drums and a piano. I know that you're thrilled at the idea. I can feel your excitement in my water now. It's welling up inside you and rising to a crescendo. Go, watch, enjoy.

Actually, I just realised that I posted that brillian Japanese version of Spriderman as that link. OK, I got you there under false pretenses, but it was worth watching, wasn't it.

Anyway, the link to the music (if you can call it that - I do) is here.

Ahoy.

Are you bored with watching paint dry?

If you are, have you ever considered watching synchonised goldfish? Those crazy Japanese. What will they come up with next?

Riding a bike round some bends

When this video starts off, you're thinking to yourself "OK, this guy isn't going THAT quick. Then, after a minute or two, he starts to get warmed up and goes a bit quicker on the road than I would consider doing.

Growing Old

In another brief foray into Paintshop Pro, I thought I'd see what my good friend Woof might look like in a few years time and this is the result. I did this by overlaying his beardy picture on his dad's.
Food for thought.

Personally, I think Woof will age like Brian Blessed, but won't be quite as meek as Prince Vultan.

Have you noticed...

...how some things you find on the Internet are just plain odd? Take this little film clip for instance. Is it the cultural gap? Am I behind the times and not keeping up with these latest fads?

Shiver down the spine

That's what I get when I listen to this old classic. It makes me want to pick up a guitar again and turn the amp up full volume. For you youngsters, watch and learn.

Laguna Seca in the old days

I posted the Schumacher Ferrari version of this kind of race a while back. I wonder how much time Valentino Rossi would be able to allow Freddie Spencer, given the benefit of a full 260bhp MotoGP bike. It's great watching the guy on the Honda CB hanging off like a good'un.

NEC Bike Show 2006

Some people ask me why I like bikes. Is it the speed or the acceleration? Is it the extra skill required to get one round a corner quickly? Is it the way that you physically interact with the bike, using strength and balance to bend it to your will?

I will let you judge.

[Addendum] I haven't previously gone in for this kind of sexist exploitation, but this picture on Flickr received more hits than any of my other shots. Obviously, I've been missing a trick.
